Porcelain Onlays and Veneers

Modern advances in dental adhesion have allowed us to give back virtually all the internal strength of teeth, as well as replacing missing enamel that has been lost by attrition or erosion. Veneers are thin custom-made, tooth-colored shells that are bonded onto the fronts of teeth to create a beautiful individual smile, as well as allowing us to protect sensitive, soft internal tooth structure. Onlays allow us to replace extensively damaged teeth or failing old "silver" fillings, without sacrificing internal strength of the tooth. Both options allow us to restore or camouflage damaged, discolored, poorly shaped, or misaligned teeth. Unlike crowns, veneers and onlays require minimal tooth structure to be removed from the surface of the tooth.
